You have to applaud Trevella Holiday Park in Cornwall as they have an awesone range of free adventure activities planned for its younger summer guests. Children can get up close and personal with the wild-side of the north Cornwall coast and countryside by coming face to face with the bugs, beasties and bats that live in and around the park’s own nature reserve. There is also the underwater life in the streams, rock pools and sands of nearby Crantock beach waiting to be discovered. Adventure activities will include:
- spooky night-time walks to spot moths and bats
- building animal homes and feeding stations
- pulling on wellies and waterproofs to discover underwater insects
- exploring underground mammal burrows with tiny cameras
- catching bugs with pit-fall traps
- survival skills including shelter building and map reading
- freshwater fishing for beginners
- campfire story storytelling and all FREE
Summer holiday prices start from £469 for safari tent and £557 for a static caravan based on a 7 night stay for up to 6 people in August. The ranger-led sessions will run between the weeks of the 26 July to August 30 2013.
